Hi all. This is my first blog, so let me know how I do. We went up to the Georgia Dog Gym last weekend for run-thrus. Very fun. Ekko and Trick go to do equipment that wasn’t at Sirius, Jerry’s, or home and did very well. They stayed focused and were very happy to play with me.

After run-thrus we went over to Cyndy’s for a little while to meet a rescue she’s got named Trey. I don’t know how many of you have ever been to Cyndy’s house, but I would happily kill to own a place like she does. She must have at least 8 acres and to get to the kennel you have to walk through her pasture. How many of you have ever seen six border collies (three of mine and three of Cyndy’s) all running through a pasture together as fast as they can? I can officially say that I have. It has got to be one of the coolest things I’ve seen in a really long time. You know that warm, happy feeling you get when you know you’re exactly where you are supposed to be, doing exactly what you’re supposed to be doing? I felt like that, times about 100. It was so cool. When we got to the kennel Cyndy, dad, and I went in. Trey has come so far, but still has a long way to go. We went and sat in the yard with him.

All dad and I could convince him to do is lay by Cyndy and take food from us, which is a huge step for him. I have no doubt that with a great trainer like Cyndy helping him, Trey will continue to take steps in the right direction. I think we are going to run-thrus this Saturday up near Athens and the week after that is the Sirius show. So… I guess I’ll post again soon. Talk to ya’ll later.
